Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and use of new and self-service tooling to support cloud cost management across public and private
  • Deliver new components and features from concept to release design, develop, deploy, and operate at a steady cadence.
  • Share ownership of with application team codebases, service architectures, tools, and developer experience. Serve as a catalyst for increased development velocity.
  • Lead, mentor and inspire an engineering team spread across US and UK locations
  • Ensure security, scalability and resiliency are baked in to everything you deliver working with key stakeholders and partners across the firm to achieve these goals.
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and workflows and propose new features and ecosystem changes to streamline their experience using the cloud.

Key Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with one or more Public Cloud's - AWS, Azure, Google, and their key foundational components (IAM, Networking) and preferably at least one major certification
  • Experience of cloud cost optimization and management strategies
  • Proficiency in at least one infrastructure as code toolset and one modern programming language (e.g Python, Golang, Java)
  • Experience in building enterprise platforms that enable large-scale management of complex cloud resources
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning, services, security, and cost management in public cloud environments
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing systems that offer self-service and self-healing capabilities
  • Hands-on expertise in migrating and transforming enterprise workloads in the cloud
  • Practical knowledge of cloud shared responsibility model and security best practices.
  • Strong communication skills
